Private Violence Screening at Malco Studio on the Square
The Family Safety Center is excited to screen Private Violence, a documentary by filmmaker Cynthia Hill that shatters the brutality of a common logic – why doesn’t she just leave? – through the eyes of two survivors.
As we kick off National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we hope you will join us as we watch this important film!
When: Wednesday, Sept. 30 at 7 p.m.
Where: Malco Studio on the Square
$10 donation for entrance fee. Purchase tickets here.
Following the presentation, select members of VOICES, a speaker’s bureau comprised of local men and women who have survived domestic violence, will hold a brief question-and-answer session to speak about their experiences and how they escaped DV.
